I started my own self management journey back in October 2005 with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. At that point I had no idea where this life changing opportunity would take me but I felt a strong desire to give something back, a trait which is still strong to this day.

Diabetes At Your Fingertips (News Item)

This week I attended a Diabetes Scotland event where they shared learning from ‘Diabetes At Your Fingertips’ (DEFT), a project they recently piloted aimed at getting diabetes information out to older people from Minority Ethnic communities in North West and South Glasgow.
