Carers have told us they need to understand about self management for the person they care for as well as for themselves. Too often support is offered when a carer feels in crisis. Carers frequently report feeling isolated & unsupported, which puts a strain on their wellbeing & ability to cope. Lorraine Keith from Edinburgh Carers Support Project describes in this article a project in which they delivered WRAP to carers of people with mental health problems & shares the project evaluation.
